Brisceida L.
My name is Brisceida Mayela Longoria. (surgery date 11/05/02 @ 240lbs see first picture one month before the surgery) After a long research 10 years to be exact, I decided to do the lap band, did my research locally and found Dr. Reyes. Dr Reyes is Hispanic and In the Valley that is a big plus. Dr. Reyes has been a wonderful doctor, comprehensive, and supportive.
My main goal was to be a size 12, no matter how many pounds did I have to lose or how much did I have to weigh, I never was a size 12 not even when I was a teenager!
Now I'm 164lbs and I think I look great. I'm still 20 pounds away for my Ideal weight but, at this weight, I feel great!. Whatever I loose after this will be ok. People that see me on the streets some of them not even recognize me.All my family is proud of desicion that I made .
It has been a journey learning to eat small portions, and chew every bite up to 20 times, to get the flavor of every meal.
Now after the Surgery, I'm more active, my life has changed, and if some ask me again I would have the procedure again. It will be definitely YES!!

My name is Shawn Cazares and Dr Reyes saved my life!
I was on the fast road to a short life when I met Dr. Reyes. I was 36 yrs old and weighed 336lbs. I had gastric bypass on June18th of 2003. I now weigh 178lbs.
My life is totally different than it was one year ago. I can go anywhere I want and not have people stare. I can do anything I want physically and not be in constant pain. But the most important part of all of this is I WILL be here for my family for a long time.
I WILL see my two daughters grow up and I WILL live happily ever after with my husband.
